Emily is from Conception Bay South, Newfoundland, and this is her second year living in Alberta. This is Emily's first year at Paddle Prairie School and she teaches ECS/grade 1. She also runs the chess club in our school. Her favorite part of teaching is getting to know her students and their families. She loves having fun while learning and seeing kids' faces light up when they understand what she is teaching. Having them light up with pride makes her day!
Outside of school Emily likes spending time with her boyfriend and their dog, Marlow. They like to travel, hike and try different types of food. In her spare time you can find Emily listening to music or shopping online!
