Andrea Jackson appointed Paddle Prairie School Vice-Principal

Northland School Division (NSD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrea Jackson as the new Vice-Principal of Paddle Prairie School, effective the 2025-2026 school year.
Jackson has been with NSD for eight years. She most recently taught at Paddle Prairie School, and has also taught at Conklin Community School and Dr. Mary Jackson School.
“I am excited to begin this new chapter which includes working with the new principal Melanie Lapp as we walk together in learning and growth,” said Jackson. “I share this message: ‘Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.’ I look forward to learning from each of you as we continue to build a strong, caring and culturally rich school environment.”
“Andrea understands the context and our overarching goals at Northland School Division,” said Cal Johnson, Superintendent of Schools/CEO. “I am confident that Andrea is ready for this important leadership opportunity. Congratulations Andrea!”
Andrea holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Yorkville University, a journey that has further equipped her to support both staff and students with compassion, vision, and a collaborative spirit.
Outside of work, Andrea enjoys creating memories with her extended family, curling up with a good novel, and exploring the world. These experiences fuel her motivation and resilience.
